The guide
What a cafe website needs, and how Moon does it
What a cafe website has to do
People check a cafe's website for the menu, the opening hours and whether they can order ahead. A Moon cafe website answers all three on the first screen of a phone, and lets regulars order their usual before they leave the house.
Order ahead, collect at the counter
Customers order from your menu, pick their size, milk and extras, and choose a time to collect. Every choice can have its own price, so oat milk or an extra shot adds up in the basket. The order arrives in Moon HQ for you to accept and mark ready.
If you also deliver with your own riders, customers can follow the delivery on a live map once the rider shares their location.
Order at the table by QR code
Each table gets a QR sticker. Guests scan it, order from their phone, ask for the bill from the same screen and pay at the end, so your staff spend less time taking orders and more time making them.
Your menu, kept up to date in seconds
Change dishes, prices, photos and allergens yourself and the website updates straight away. Sold out of the banana bread? One tap and it stops taking orders for it. Orders are only taken while you are open.
Starting from a paper menu? Take a photo of it and Moon SI turns it into your online menu for you to check.
